Ban reason: Escalation - RDM 2x - First Offense (As Janitor, wordlessly started beating the shit out of multiple people with a mop.)
Ban issue: I did not do what I was banned/noted for.
Events leading to the ban
Someone, I believe an assistant, or someone acting like an assistant, was caught in the act of stealing from janitorial (I was janitor). So I chased him around and whacked him with my mop a lot until sec came with a stun baton. After that, sec was slipped, and I ran away before I got arrested. (Sec wanted me for hitting him.) Not much happened rest of shift.
The reason this was a wordless act was because we both knew why I was targeting him - he was running and I was chasing because he had stolen goods from my workplace. I assume at bare minimum 1x soap, but also possibly more soap, cleanades, and sprayers.
I legitimately don’t know who the second person I hit is. (The 2x in the ban reason). I was banned after I had logged out so I did not get to have a conversation for clarification.
I am assuming the 2x is referring to either of these events:
While I was chasing him I may have accidentally hit some others once or twice due to wide swinging, so I assume it looked like I was attacking multiple people in the gamelog. (I feel like this is what the 2x is referring to.) It was only incidental, I wasn’t wide swinging to include other people to be a dick and also it was just a mop.
Another possible assumed RDM was me asking RD’s Gemini what a Gemini was and if I could hit them. (I don’t fully know what a Gemini is, if they were even capable of taking damage.) They explained that if I hit them it wouldn’t make them bleed, so I hit them with a spear lying around and they got mad and said (paraphrasing) “I didn’t mean that you actually could hit me.” (Maybe what the 2x is referring to.)
The only other thing that comes to mind is I also accidentally hit RD once while mopping. (I really doubt this is what the 2x is referring to.)
Reason the ban should be removed
Idk how serious ban history is in Goobstation. I assume the ban repealing will probably take longer than the 3 days I am actually banned. I don’t know if it is worth repealing just to get it off of my ban history, or if that even matters, but if it does then here is my repeal attempt.
