Ban issue: I did what I was banned/noted for, but the ban is unreasonably harsh.
Events leading to the ban
i rolled thief as atmos, relatively peaceful start of shift. nothing happens. have some fun as thief, eventually team up with this MD and have some fun breaking into HoS cus i need wanted list cartridge —> it isn’t there and no secoffs have been promoted. i ahelp because i see it as metagaming (which may be wrong but i see no reason for him to take it other than it being a thief objective) and we argue back and forth, him generally being calmer but i try to get him to see my side. i see me being fairly abusive with comments like “this is pathetic” and making a short mock statement about why its not metagaming. then i he tells me he’s going to grassban me for a day in which i try to just leave it and say “you are not very good at these rules” and just say good day, in which he jumps back and tells me i’m being banned for “malding in ahelp” in which i say that i just told him i’m going to stop and that i’m not malding. THEN 10KE comes and he’s quite reasonable, saying that i have been warned prior by an admin (which i have when i didnt get a response for 3 days straight on something that was fairly gameruining, warned by Moony33 and i saw my issue there) and after messaging 10KE more saying “i have just left him alone” and that “i am not being abusive” he randomly upps it to an indefinite ban for “U-16 behaviour and misuse of ahelp” when i’m talking to 10KE. i then say i was talking to 10KE and not misusing it, continue to play the game, he says and I quote “Your continued malding and your previous warning by a Head Game Admin on this is just not good behavior for this server and you do not need to be acting like this over a simple admin intervention which you requested. You did not get the results you wanted so you elected to argue about it in ahelps. Have a good day” End of argument, I’m banned
Reason the ban should be removed
i feel that the 1 day grassban was fair. i had a WARNING before, but no actual bans and a singular warning. i feel as if he just pulled the under-16 card to find a reason to get rid of me cus he was tired of it there, especially when i had visibly calmed down and told him “good day” and that i hadn’t been abusive and i tried to leave him alone. 1 day is deserved, i did act fairly bad in ahelps, but not bad enough to warrant an indefinite, especially after he escalated it to an indefinite WAYYY after i backed down. review it as you wish, i just don’t see this as fair considering how i tried to de-escalate and say that i had been trying to leave the admin alone. “you aren’t the best at these rules” does not warrant an indefinite in my opinion.
ok thats all, i am not saying a ban is unreasonable i am saying an indefinite ban (first time) is unreasonable.
