What role do you think game admins serve on our servers?
two sides both to enforces rules, and to act as a DM, create fun and remeber moments for the player base with the role play moments they offer or create
Why do you want to become an administrator for SS14?
acting as a DM and helping players with their odd role play gimmick or to enjoy watching rimworld with slightly more random ai (watching a players play)
What are you primarily interested in doing as an admin?
been trying to for the past 6-9 months now mainly cause i enjoy this game alot, and also cause i see so many fucking raiders on late at night when the pop is below 25 ish

uhhh… nothing really i’ve done abit of this before and i enjoyed it

How do you feel about the current roleplay status on the servers?
eh, could be better, just hosted and planned a wedding the other day and it when’t well and then i got asked to host a nother wedding
Other than banning problematic players, what admin actions do you believe have the biggest positive impact?
giving CC a face, as it’s often unmanned or unresponsive CC a voice.

uh a wedding i planned and made happen god, it was such a nice moment.

no, other then the odd time i joined lrp and tryed it for the first time, and got gancked by 5 tiders that i know all very much hated me and whent out of thier way to round start kill me and gib me with tool boxes

Scenario 1
It is the start of the round. There are 60 players on the server. The game mode is traitors, traitors have not been selected yet. There are three players who decided to observe the round instead of join it orbiting you. Two of them are encouraging you to “do something funny”.
depends on the people, i can just give their ghost the blinking componets or give them the bolling ball smite thier ghost and watch as they float away then take away the componets like nothing ever happens
or show restraint and tell em noo.. latter mabye mabye…
Scenario 2
This scenario takes place on LRP. The Head of Security has decided to coup the Captain. The Head of Personnel agrees with the Head of Security and has taken up arms in case it is necessary to aid in effecting the arrest of the Captain. The Captain is hiding with the Quartermaster in the cargo shuttle to avoid the Clown who has stolen the captains saber as a non-antag. There are five people named in this scenario. Please describe what actions, if any, you would take in relation to each, and why.
hos and hop, depends on thier reasons if it was a no confdents vote and they both or most of command agreed it’s an RP issue that should be solved as such. else but should be watched closely
for the clown, he is allowed to self antag as it’s the clown and it’s also lrp where everything is a bit more relaxed but if he beheads people that’s an issue, if he returns it, no action to take
Scenario 3
You are ahelping a player about an issue. The player has no prior noted issues. A few days earlier, an admin had told you that this type of situation should result in a temporary ban for a first offense, and you are confident that this situation is not substantially different from the type that admin was describing. During the ahelp, another admin pings you on Discord with a link to the ongoing ahelp and tells you to just indefinitely ban them and make them appeal. Excluding trialmins and headmins, all admins are equally “ranked”. A headmin is not currently available.
two thing’s lead with your jugmeant, second ask for opions with in the admin cord or the headmis dm’s for advices
and tell the player that they are in a grey spot and that the action may be changed as their in an area that places them on the feance

A brand new player has joined, chosen cargo tech, and instantly rushes to get satchel charges and other salvage gear. How do you act, if at all?
think ether, raider or expcriced player, or some one who watched a few to many lilthead videos and see them try out salvage it’s doesen’t mean anything more just unordinary behaviour
Scenario 5
A security officer, on code blue, spots a mime breaking into EVA, in response, he shoots the mime with lethal force then takes him to medical, in cuffs. How do you act, if at all, and to whom?
it’s overesclations. if nothing was said then yes, however theirs a sub note here cause it’s a mime and mimes are exemted from esclation and self antag rules from and against them, yet. you can infrom the officer that’s cuase the mime is breaking into eva (area that’ really isn’t all that important in the first place)
or take a curtisy and tell the officer that he jumped a few layers in esclation and should have asked, or stuned the mime instead of giving him a free medical visit
Scenario 6
A chief engineer has been slacking all round, generally ignoring the responsibilities of the department, despite meteors and gas leaks happening all round. How do you act towards them, if at all?
poke with stick. i.e send a fax to the ntr, and ask for a report on engi as “their seems to be some noteable issues with the onstation atmosperhics and strucale shape of the station appears to be warping”
Scenario 7
You are adminning with 2 other admins, and recieve an aHelp, you start handling it when one of the others butts in to the aHelp correct you. How do you act, if at all?
admin only message, ask them to please not but in, it adds confusion to the player who’s reading the ahelp
Scenario 8
A passenger arrives on station and starts skulking around in maints. Not preparing weapons or breaking into places, but gathering tools, insulation gloves, wires, gas mask, batteries, etc. How do you act, if at all?
no issue, nothing bad has happend so i shall need not to do anything
Scenario 9
You are playing as the HOS in-game when the only other admin online notifies you that they have to leave. Since you are an important figure, you decide to continue playing for the remainder of the round, going SSD when ahelps occur in order to deal with them. While playing, you arrest the clown for non-lethal assault against the HOP inside the medical bay. Just as you arrive at security with the clown in cuffs, you receive an ahelp from the CMO about their chemist blowing up chem. In order to investigate, you quickly hand the clown over to the warden and tell the warden to “deal with them.” While investigating the CMO’s ahelp, you then receive an ahelp about the warden beheading the cuffed clown. How do you act, if at all, and to whom?
you have 3 things to act on
one dealing with the cmo’s chemist who might have made an oopsie, ask what he was mixing depends on the mix means the issues like he lavalbeakered some chlorine flourine.. which is very explosive or fucked up making saline (under cooked the beaker so no table salt so teh soduim explode when reascting with watter)

ask the clown in ahelp on why he was beheaded?

get the story of both sides and act.
both ic and in admin, rather demoteing the warden for the random beheading and to get the brigmedic to attach and revie the clown and apolgise for it, then go over to admin and inform the warden of your descion his with or with out punshmeant.
