Ban issue: I did what I was banned/noted for, but the ban is unreasonably harsh.
Events leading to the ban
Me and another character (both female) were RPing and our characters were getting gay with it (Not ERP). My character called the other faggot. ~1 minute later I recieved an Ahelp message from Blepington telling me that saying faggot is not allowed. ~5 minutes later I was banned.
Reason the ban should be removed
The rules aren’t very clear on the fact that you can’t say faggot. It also wasn’t said in a bigoted or hateful way.
The rule also feels immature. I understand slurs like “retard” or racial slurs being banned, but faggot is a slur that has been heavily reclaimed. Making hateful uses of the word a bannable offense would make sense, however outright banning the word seems unreasonable, especially when many people (myself and friends included) include the word in our everyday diction. I understand that the server rules say “Homophobia doesn’t exist anymore” however it seems reasonable that faggot would carry through. In modern uses it is used less as a slur and more as a friendly remark.
