Events leading to the ban
I was playing as a mouse, wandered into the Epistemics department, got picked up by a player, stuck in a fax machine, and faxed to Midpoint/Centcomm. I spent a few moments trying to figure out what the heck happened and where I was (it was a room I’d never seen before) before I was detonated. Landokoza then bwoinked me, I explained the sequence of events, then I was booted with a week ban.
Reason the ban should be removed
As a mouse, I can’t fax myself -anywhere- given the inability to interact with most things, so I don’t understand how I could be accused of abusing this an exploit; I had no way to stop the player who faxed me from doing it, so right now it feels like I’m copping a ban for their actions rather than anything I actually did.
The gibbing was fair, I get that – you’re not supposed to be at Midpoint in any way before round end and ways of getting there are considered exploits. If I’d realized that’s where I was, I would have just ghosted anyway. A week ban, however, seems excessive.
