General Questions

Why do you want to become a Game Admin? Go into detail about it and tell us a lot about it:
My interactions with the people and the admins have been very positive. I want to volunteer to help keep
this trend going.

Have you admined for any other SS13 or SS14 server? If so, tell us about your experiences during that time, and if possible, give us proof of this:
No prior experience but would be open to learning.

What role do you think the Game Admins exactly serve:
I believe the Game admins serve two functions in the server. Function one, Is to moderate the game and ensure it is a fun, fair, and pleasant experience for all to engage in. The second function is to narrate stories to have the inhabitants of the station to engage in, to break any monotony of gameplay.

What do you think is the current roleplay status of the server, what do you think can be done to improve it:
Im aware that the server is Low Role Play (LRP). I don't see any issues that need improvement. Increasing times for roles don't help as the same people who don't understand their roles will just earn time and take the job. Giving the captain the authority to actually fire any inhabitants regardless of job (except NT Rep or Blueshield) Having an incompetant head in position to say "You cant fire me, I'm picked by CENTCOM" doesn't help (had this happen when CE was breaking into HoS office), when the captain wants to find a better fit. Role banning someone until they can complete a required tutorial (hosted by NT Rep for RP purposes) and fax to CENTCOM to unban the role, I think would help.

Say, someone who already has a note on RDM from before, for example, was to RDM and kill two people, but they've left already before you could admin help them. How would you handle the problem?
I would note the user's name tag, write up a brief report of event, talk to the victims, log events and pass to other admins
 

Captain seems to have disconnected before they died or the round ended. This is the first time they've disconnected while playing a very important job. What would you do about them?
Give the captain a few minutes to reconnect (might have been an error), and if he doesn't, first make sure other players aren't affected then move body to Cyro to open role. I'd watch the person and make sure a pattern doesn't develop.
 

You see a passenger player mess around too much and start interfering with a Security Officer's arrest by uncuffing the Officer's prisoner, as the passenger runs, the Officer pulls out their gun and shoots the passenger almost to death. What's wrong here and how would you handle the situation as an Admin?
SecOff did not follow the Escalation clause and would be ahelped to go over the clause and server rules.

You see a chemist who has only made baisc meds start gathering materials and talking about making uranium foam grenades in chat. Right as they start making the grenades they roll as a midround sleeper syndie. How would you handle the situation if at all?
The situation does not call for any interaction. Materials gathered and talking about it is baseless unless followed through.

 

You see a clown using crayon to write on the floor in front of security. The clown writings are negative things about security, like “shitsec”. A secoff tells the clown that they’re being arrested for vandalism, stuns them, and cuffs them. Before the secoff is able to get the clown into the brig, a passenger slips the secoff, causing them to lose their baton, then uses the baton to stun another secoff that comes to help as the clown runs away. The passenger escapes through disposals. Having heard an AOS radio callout, the detective enters maintenance near disposals and shoots the passenger to crit. There are four players in this scenario, the clown, the passenger, the secoff, and the detective.
Clown, secoff, and passenger done nothing wrong in this case for admin intervention. Detective may have escalation clause if the crit of the passenger could've have been prevented with non-lethal options (if any) on hand.
 

You and another Admin have been doing your job without problems, you then catch a command staff member misuse contraband. While you are in the middle of the ahelp, the other admin jumps into the middle of your ahelp with a rule clarification that is plainly incorrect. Whithout the interruption, what would have you asked the command staff member, and how would you have responded or reacted to the interrupting admin?
For the contraband issue, ask them not to use it stating the misuse and the clarification is invalid. Secondly, work with the other admin and explain about why I ahelped the player and try to come to an agreement or get 3rd party to intervene.
