General Questions

Why do you want to become a Game Admin? Go into detail about it and tell us a lot about it:

I have played the game a lot, and i know a lot about it. This aids in events and some bans about specific niche things.
More hands on deck to admin is great too especially during raids.
One case too is my ping, I have a lot of ping on the server, so playing can sometimes be shabby, whereas adminning still provides a good place to play the game
without worries of disconnecting suddenly.

Do you have any prior admin or staff experience on another SS13/SS14 server? If so, tell us about your experiences during that time, and if possible, give us proof of this:

I do, on SS14 WizDen.

What role do you think Game Admins serve, in detail:

Rule enforcement, dealing with appeals, helping in the admin questions channel.
Viewing replays and logs can be viewed too to complement appeals and bans.
On times where necessary to the round or if the crew wants it, events can be ran too.

What are you primarily interested in doing as an admin?:

Obviously, dealing with rule breakers and such.
If there is room for an event, i will definitely do one.

What are you least interested in doing as an admin?:

Running bad events such as:
Spawning in threats to the station early into the round (15-30 minutes in)
Unnecessary ERT/CBRN/Deathsquad
Killing players for no reason either directly or through an event
Banning people a long time for no reason.
Noting people unjustly
Creating a toxic enviroment with other admins/players

What makes you a great addition to staff?:
I can admin even when other admins are sleeping due to timezones.

What do you think is the current roleplay status of the LRP server, what do you think can be done to improve it:
I think it's pretty ok, but there is room for improvements.
Mostly, people breaking into places where they shouldn't be, breaking other people's stuff etc.

(OPTIONAL) What do you think is the current roleplay status of the MRP server, what do you think can be done to improve it:

I think it's in a sweet spot.

Other than banning problematic players, what admin actions do you believe have the biggest positive impact?:
Running an event with great positive feedback
Interacting with the community, whether through OOC, General chat, Admin Auditorium or Admin Questions

Have you ever had a negative experience with a game admin (even on another SS13/14 server)? If so what, if anything, would you do differently?:
I don't think i have honestly.

Have you ever had a good experience with a game admin? If so, what was it?:
Honestly, every experience is good. Admins are welcoming, understanding, and generally don't do anything bad towards the player.

In your opinion, what is the most important quality in an admin?:
A welcoming personality, to help players and cooperate with admins.

Scenarios Questions (You should put more than just one or two sentences.)

It is the start of the round. There are 60 players on the server. The game mode is traitors, traitors have not been selected yet. There are three players who decided to observe the round instead of join it orbiting you. Two of them are encouraging you to “do something funny”.

I would do nothing.
Reasoning: If something was done, people would complain, simply. I would wait for the game to do the aforementioned funny.
If something was not done, people would have time to start the shift, get some research done, gear up etc to be able to handle the funny.

Say, someone who already has a note on RDM from before, for example, was to RDM and kill two people, but they've left already before you could admin help them. How would you handle the problem?

I would ban them for 1 hour, on count of 2 RDM, but since they have evaded an ahelp, extend it to 8 days
Also include in the ban reason the reasoning for why the ban was extended.
Reasoning: Per the banning policy, it is 12 hours at maximum for RDM. Since 2 rdm's were done, add another 12 hours.
Since they evaded an ahelp, also by the banning policy, the ban should be extended to 7 days
It also states that it should be explained why the ban has been extended.

The Captain has disconnected before they died or the round ended. This is the first time they've disconnected while playing a very important job. What do you do?

Create a note/message stating that the player has disconnected as Captain.
If command or the crew was warned by the Captain that they were disconnected, do nothing.
Reasoning:
Leaving the game as an important role, stated by the Banning Policy, says it's an warning to 5 days ban depending on the severity.
If they were to disconnect after warning the crew, the crew could have someone take the leadership of Captain, possibly the HoP.
If they were to disconnect roundstart, i would ban them for a few days, depending on what role they got.

You see a chemist who has only made basic meds start gathering materials and talking about making uranium foam grenades in chat. Right as they start making the grenades they roll as a midround sleeper Syndicate. How would you handle the situation if at all?

Give them a warning for Powergaming, since the chemist did not have any antag status before preparing to make those grenades.
Beforehand, ask them why they were making these grenades and apply punishment based on the response.
Reasoning:
Preparing dangerous weaponry is bad especially if there isn't a major threat to the station at hand.
The banning policy also mentions this.

The Head of Security has decided to coup the Captain. The Head of Personnel agrees with the Head of Security and has taken up arms in case it is necessary to aid in effecting the arrest of the Captain. The Captain is hiding with the Quartermaster in the cargo shuttle to avoid the Clown who has stolen the captains saber as a non-antag. There are five people named in this scenario. Please describe what actions, if any, you would take in relation to each, and why.

Ask the Head of Security why they have decided to coup. Apply punishment depending on response, at a minimum of 3 days ban.
Ask the Head of Personnel why they have also decided to coup with the HOS. The punishment is parallel to the HOS' punishment, at 3 days ban.
Ask the Captain why they are being couped. If it's a valid reason, other punishment can be applied, otherwise, go back to talk with HOS or HOP.
Do nothing to the Quartermaster, but it might be good to ask them why the captain is being couped.
Ask the clown why they've taken the sabre, and tell them to return it to the Captain. If it's been stolen for a valid reason, eg. captain unfairly treating the Clown, then they can possibly keep it or return it to the HOS.
Reasoning:
HOP, HOS: A minimum of 3 days is stated in the 3rd place of the Competence section in the Banning Policy, for doing things that are a detriment to the station.
Cap: Maybe the Captain could have done something to be couped, if that's true, apply punishment for that something they've done.
QM: The quartermaster has done nothing bad in this story and is completely valid.
Clown: Stealing a major contraband as a non-antag can be detrimental to the Captain and security of the crew, especially if it's the Sabre.

You see a clown using crayon to write on the floor in front of security. The clown writings are negative things about security, like “shitsec”. A secoff tells the clown that they’re being arrested for vandalism, stuns them, and cuffs them. Before the secoff is able to get the clown into the brig, a passenger slips the secoff, causing them to lose their baton, then uses the baton to stun another secoff that comes to help as the clown runs away. The passenger escapes through disposals. Having heard an AOS radio callout, the detective enters maintenance near disposals and shoots the passenger to crit. There are four players in this scenario, the clown, the passenger, the secoff, and the detective.

Do nothing to the Clown.
Do nothing to the Secoff.
Ask the Passenger why they've slipped a secoff and stole a baton for no reason. It could possibly be an IC Issue since security deals with stuff like that.
If the detective had healed the Clown after, do nothing to him.
If they hadn't been taken to Medbay, then a roleban from Security or normal 12h ban could be done.
A warning could be done too, possibly
Reasoning:
Clown is not breaching any rule by doing vandalism, and it's security's job to arrest them for vandalism.
The secoff was just doing his job, so he is clear.
Passenger is just doing passenger stuff, and it's security that deals with that.
The detective doesn't spawn with any stunning items, so it's all good if they crit them with lethals, and then heal them afterwards without letting them die.

You and another Admin have been doing your job without problems, you then catch a command staff member misuse contraband. While you are in the middle of the ahelp, the other admin jumps into the middle of your ahelp with a rule clarification that is plainly incorrect. Without the interruption, what would have you asked the command staff member, and how would you have responded or reacted to the interrupting admin?

I would have told the command member to not listen to the other admin. Then, in admin chat, explain detailedly that the rule clarification is incorrect.
Reasoning:
Interrupting an ahelp like this is bad, however if something is corrected fairly then it can be good.
I wouldn't talk to a headmin if the issue wasn't severe, like the other admin understanding the explanation.
I would talk to one afterwards in DM's if the other admin kept refusing the explanation.

You are ahelping a player about an issue. The player has no prior noted issues. A few days earlier, an admin had told you that this type of situation should result in a temporary ban for a first offense, and you are confident that this situation is not substantially different from the type that admin was describing. During the ahelp, another admin pings you on Discord with a link to the ongoing ahelp and tells you to just indefinitely ban them and make them appeal. Excluding Trial Game Admins, Senior Game Admins and Head Game Admins, all admins are equally “ranked”. A headmin is not currently available.

I would explain to them too by pointing to where it was stated in the Banning Policy and also tell them about the earlier admin's explanation.
If the other admin refused to hear the explanation, i would continue the ahelp and then tell a head admin about the situation when one is available.
