General Questions

Why do you want to become a Game Admin? Go into detail about it and tell us a lot about it:

I want to become a game admin to make the community (and gameplay) even better in goobstation, help other players with their issues and rightfully punish the ones who break the law (raiders), I'd been looking forward for the admin applications since i've plaid a lot on goob and learned my way around there, of course i have chosen to be an admin due to my experience and mostly and most important to make the game funnier to play, other than that I've been inspired a lot by other admins to try and join the team!

Do you have any prior admin or staff experience on another SS13/SS14 server? If so, tell us about your experiences during that time, and if possible, give us proof of this:

I am currently a trialmin in ss14 Weasel station, and learned most (if not all) of the basics there, and also applied to admin in delta V.

What role do you think Game Admins serve, in detail:

A game administrator's role primarily is to develop the game experience to its best, same with the players and their teachings, Game administrators serve a professional and personal purpose, professional being moderating the server, making sure rules are followed via education or enforcement, clarifying orders like "what would happen if" in X situations, and interfering in some scenarios that DEFFINITELY shouldn't have happened (being this ERP, shitting, raiding, etc...)

The personal one is: Functioning as a gamemaster in events (via hosting them or simply making sure they work), making stuff to keep the ghosties entretained (those that dont affect gameplay or anything in the station (mostly)), and of course interacting greatly with players.

What are you primarily interested in doing as an admin?:

Im mostly intrested in helping this server with anything in the most positive aspect!, stop toxicity and hate in goob (when its without reason) and do my best whenever and however i can, also of course doing some small events any time to time that im allowed, making this experience fun for everyone, of course i am most intresting in moderating and admining (since i applied for that lol), being honest i'd love to deal with raiders in some hillarious ways (and then banning them of course), making sure they get the punishment for what they deserve!

What are you least interested in doing as an admin?:

If im being honest, i dont really like warning some kind of players that simply dont know what they are doing, primarily cause that warning sticks to their notes till the end of the times, and because i feel bad for some of the people who get those kind of punishments.

What makes you a great addition to staff?:

Im most of the time charming and helpful, also i observe both points of view on the situation (what sounds somewhat common, in some servers it isnt), i always make sure people follow the rules, also i sometimes interact with the community with friendlyness or with memes (essential in admins), i am also always open to suggestions or changes.

What do you think is the current roleplay status of the LRP server, what do you think can be done to improve it:

After a LOT of debating myself and thinking, i dont think i can offer any perspective on this!, However i love the MRP server idea and how popular goobstation got.

(OPTIONAL) What do you think is the current roleplay status of the MRP server, what do you think can be done to improve it:

Other than banning problematic players, what admin actions do you believe have the biggest positive impact?:
Teaching new players or making them learn from their mistakes, learning is always the first step towards mastering!, also being active in the discord or via ingame community, i say interacting with the community as verbally, being friendly, and act like a normal players! chatting with them and being friendly, perhaps even doing some events to spice up the gameplay

Have you ever had a negative experience with a game admin (even on another SS13/14 server)? If so what, if anything, would you do differently?:

i havent really got any bad experience anytime nowhere, however i'd litsen to complaints to make myself better!

Have you ever had a good experience with a game admin? If so, what was it?:
piras helped me most of the time as an admin, being friendly and being chill as hell, friendlyness and of course HUMANITY, cause some people take admining too roughly and punish many players for small things. Piras has helped me a lot throughout the goobstation experience and even submitting some arts!

In your opinion, what is the most important quality in an admin?:

Being human, taking it chill and calmly, and being yourself, friendlyness and not to sit on the high horse of an admin, treat everyone equally!, interact with the people!, make the community the best place that people can be in!

Scenarios Questions (You should put more than just one or two sentences.)

It is the start of the round. There are 60 players on the server. The game mode is traitors, traitors have not been selected yet. There are three players who decided to observe the round instead of join it orbiting you. Two of them are encouraging you to “do something funny”.
First of all, the players didnt do anything wrong, since they just observed the round, however doing "something funny", would hurt the round, and i KNOW since I've been a player doing something funny means spawning the most obnouxious antag known to men so they can kill people, and EVIDENTLY i would not do that, however i'd notify other admins that im going to my testing room (so they can know im not gonna be able to observe suspicious activity) and make some ghost roles there so they dont get bored, giving us a neutral response to the "do something funny", making other roles that do not interfere in any way with the round but give the purpose of making the round better and spicy for the ghosts. As i said, traitors werent selected yet, but if they WERE, that'd be a rule break to antag roll. (by this i mean ghosting when they are selected), also important to mention in this scenarios i may SOMETIMES do an event if im allowed.

Say, someone who already has a note on RDM from before, for example, was to RDM and kill two people, but they've left already before you could admin help them. How would you handle the problem?

First of all, i must check if he was any kind of antag (the offense would be lesser since its murderboning, however its still antag), removing the chance that hes an antag, i must check the gamemode, for example if it was nukies (with this i mean killing nukies), that would not be RDM, HOWEVER removing all of those chances, i would look at the note other admins put there and add a major infraction note telling them to basically ban/kick the user with the right punishing time, and notify other admins that i did so through the discord. So whenever he joins and any admin is there, he knows that he has to ban him. (i'd say an appeal only ban), if they have been warned about this then they know they shouldnt do it but did it without any kind of provocation.  Also the rules say that evading an ahelp can extend the ban for 7 days or indefinitely, what makes it worse for the banned user.

The Captain has disconnected before they died or the round ended. This is the first time they've disconnected while playing a very important job. What do you do?

First of all, check the gamemode and confirm that the person is the real captain ( by checking everything is in order and all good, and checking the antag status, cause might be a changeling or some sort), assuming its 100% the captain, the gamemode is NOT nukies and everything is correct, i'd first of all add a note, this note saying that this is a  first offense, leading to 5 day roleban, HOWEVER, shit happens, unexpected stuff happens, life is life man, they should give a heads-out before they leave the game or they dont know so!, i'd use the message-type admin remark should invite the player to submit an ahelp explaining the situation, even a "Man i gotta skedaddle" would do it, warning them that they should not vanish without a trace, therefore ending with a simple admin remark.
You see a chemist who has only made basic meds start gathering materials and talking about making uranium foam grenades in chat. Right as they start making the grenades they roll as a midround sleeper Syndicate. How would you handle the situation if at all?

Remembering that its LRP, its acceptable behavour so its kinda okay, however i'd add a medium admin remark like "almost self-antagged but got lucky as hell", other than that theres really nothing that i can do, HOWEVER if it was MRP, it'd be LRP behaviour, also taking in count that the gamemode isnt nukies, because that'd be normal to do against nukies (since its the station vs 4 nuclear ops), the station must use EVERYTHING that they have to defend the disk, in that case nothing would be done.

The Head of Security has decided to coup the Captain. The Head of Personnel agrees with the Head of Security and has taken up arms in case it is necessary to aid in effecting the arrest of the Captain. The Captain is hiding with the Quartermaster in the cargo shuttle to avoid the Clown who has stolen the captains saber as a non-antag. There are five people named in this scenario. Please describe what actions, if any, you would take in relation to each, and why.

This counts as situation based behaviour (not allowed unless with admin permission, or depending on whats going on in the shift), in first hand for the HoS, and in the second hand with the HoP, HOWEVER i'd need to assess the situation and look at the logs, for example if cap was hindering the station, doing absolutely nothing on the shift (3 day to 7 day roleban in first hand), that'd be acceptable (and also admin message the captain of course), the HoS and HoP could be metacomming if they would most likely recieve an appeal-only ban, and on top of that a role ban. Moving on, the quartermaster is innocent as he did nothing, but the clown would be ahelped if he isnt doing anything with it, if hes not self-antagging with it then he is perfectly fine (assuming that the clown isnt trying to do anything bad with them), however, if he was trying to do anything he'd get a self-antag punishment.

You see a clown using crayon to write on the floor in front of security. The clown writings are negative things about security, like “shitsec”. A secoff tells the clown that they’re being arrested for vandalism, stuns them, and cuffs them. Before the secoff is able to get the clown into the brig, a passenger slips the secoff, causing them to lose their baton, then uses the baton to stun another secoff that comes to help as the clown runs away. The passenger escapes through disposals. Having heard an AOS radio callout, the detective enters maintenance near disposals and shoots the passenger to crit. There are four players in this scenario, the clown, the passenger, the secoff, and the detective.

Clown: No action at all, no rule breaking.

Secoff: Doing their job, no action or rule breaking.

Passenger: Depending on their antag status-if they are antag what they did is fine, no actions. however if he was NOT an antag, i'd send them an ahelp to let them know what they did, the punishment depends on the first, second, or third hand offense.

Detective: The detective heared the AOS callout (he could've  mistaken it with Attack On Sight), i would ahelp him letting them know what he did wrong (what he did wrong was that the detective's job is not to chase people into maints and he did not bring non-lethals, so he did it badly.) they've broken and give them a heads-up or a warning depending if he knew what it meant or if he didnt. Of course if the station was pure and absolute chaos i would let it slide

You and another Admin have been doing your job without problems, you then catch a command staff member misuse contraband. While you are in the middle of the ahelp, the other admin jumps into the middle of your ahelp with a rule clarification that is plainly incorrect. Without the interruption, what would have you asked the command staff member, and how would you have responded or reacted to the interrupting admin?

I'd report the admin to the head-staff and personally and politely tell them to "stay out", first informing him on what he did wrong so they acknowledge what they did before being reported to a headmin , other than that if the command staff made a first-offense he'd get a ban of 3 days- 7 days for Abuse of position of authority, of course depending as always: The antag status of the command role and the gamemode, for example if its nukies and the contraband is an esword, the crew must offer EVERYTHING they have to exterminate the nuclear operatives.

You are ahelping a player about an issue. The player has no prior noted issues. A few days earlier, an admin had told you that this type of situation should result in a temporary ban for a first offense, and you are confident that this situation is not substantially different from the type that admin was describing. During the ahelp, another admin pings you on Discord with a link to the ongoing ahelp and tells you to just indefinitely ban them and make them appeal. Excluding Trial Game Admins, Senior Game Admins and Head Game Admins, all admins are equally “ranked”. A headmin is not currently available.

I'd ignore the admin that told me to permaban him and follow the ban policy, telling the other admin that the ban policy says so, and if they dont litsen, consult a head administrator about this to make sure what i was doing was right and what the other admin(s) were doing was wrong.
