The reason you were banned: Incompetence in Engineering - Plasmaflooded engi after BSO said "No balls". Appeal only due to previous notes for bad actions.

Everything that lead to your ban, give a detailed explanation. Relevant info only and don't leave anything important out: I was Atmos that shift (#6942). I believe I was going into Engi to fix gravity or something, since it was off for a while. Kettle makes you forget were gravity is, so I went in through the south entrance.
I encounter NTR, BSO, two (one?) of our engineers and I believe a borg, who were in the SMES room as a pair, and the others near the AME respectively - together with a plasma canister from Science. The engineer brought it and told me Science wanted it returned back, but not before both NTR and BSO yelled out to me to "open the can, no balls". I staved it off for a bit, because that's not a canister I saw in Atmos for a while - Science also does weird shit with them, like refilling them with just the air inside. Slight offshoot - This Science actually wasted a shitton of gas. I'm honestly impressed.

I gas analyzed it and frowned, describing the gas contents - I believe the canister was 40-50% full of cold plasma - and chat with the engineer a bit about the plasma canister, and a minute later the NTR asks me to do it, again. Weighing in the odds (loads of engineers around including myself, who have an RCD, holofans and everything, there not being that much plasma and two command staff basically ordering me to do it), I snap and say, "Make sure to leave a like and subscribe", before releasing the canister's contents in full.

Immediately after, we space Engineering, until everywhere is about 1% plasma content. Feeling comfortable with that atmosphere, I let Distro air into the mainly affected rooms.
A tider then comes in and ashes themselves with a lit cigarette, and I get put on trial later by the NTR for the crime of following his orders and ashing a person with intent to kill (and win). After another engineer fixed that oddball room that the tider walked into (I didn't because there wasn't even visible plasma in the overlay), not a single other person was affected that shift. I didn't even find out about the ashed tider until I was brigged.

Before the trial/arrest, I also informed the NTR that he should carefully use his words [as one of the company's top dogs] in LOOC. This is in reference to the immediate previous round (#6941) where he fired me (as CE) for doing Atmos by the meta (setting distro to 50:50).

Why you should be unbanned: In my defense, I thought it would be funny. I put off doing anything with the plasma canister until the last possible moment, and I also thought that releasing it then and there would be an important learning experience for the NTR. I was held under duress, after all. What is the NTR going to do if I don't do it? Is he going to demote me to an assistant? A clown? Will he stab me with his frog juice syringe? I don't know. But between you and me, I hate having pink slips in my mailbox, and would prefer to keep it that way.
