Length of ban: Appeal Only Unban, so permanent
Ban reason: On MRP as HEAD OF SECURITY walked into med and instead of using non lethals immediately shot someone they "thought" killed ward and "assumed" they had a weapon. Also went around cutting of cata peoples limbs.... and eating them.
Ban issue: What I was banned/noted for is not against the rules.
Events leading to the ban
I start off the shift fighting a blob, and when the blob dies, i am called over the salvage to retreive a dead, catatonic security officer. I take him to brigmed, and upon seeing he is, in fact, catatonic, i decide to have a little fun and dismember him because i was bored. Then, when people notice the body in brigmed, i tell them how tasty humans are and eat a few limbs to create a fun rp experience for everyone involved. I then took another catatonic person, with CMO’s permission, and cooked and ate them. Now, this random medical doctor doesnt like that so much, so they decide to powergame into security with another seccoff and get a knife and cuffs while the IPC seccoff gets a laser carbine. So later, when i am hanging out in med with the captain, cmo, and ce, these people barge in and shoot at us while malding in looc about getting us rolebanned for doing stuff in rp. So then, as i am pursuing these criminals, i turn the corner, and see my warden crit on the floor, while the medical doctor is hovering over their body with a knife and handcuffs. Naturally, i assume they have equal force to me and are willing to use it, as they had on my warden, so i naturally dont think about disabler mode on my justice and use what i have available to take down the threat. I am then ahelped, and the admin was not willing to hear me out due to several previous escalation bans even though i followed escalation pretty much perfectly.
Reason the ban should be removed
I feel the banning admin’s judgement on my ban was clouded due to several previous escalation bans. They were not willing to listen to me at all, despite me trying to explain my actions several times. This ban is completely and utterly unjustified, and the general unprofessionalism and mocking i see in my ban reason seems far to similar to insults rather than a real reason. Again, i would like to explain, the medical doctor was standing over my warden, who was in critical condition, holding a knife and handcuffs while my warden is covered in blood. Naturally, I take the common sense reasoning of “This guy just stabbed or shot my warden to death” and respond by shooting the medical doctor, as in the moment i was protecting my warden who was in need. Of course, when the admin messaged me, they clarified that it was not the medical doctor who shot the warden, but again, i must stress IN THE MOMENT, i only saw a medical doctor with a knife.
