Ban issue: What I was banned/noted for is not against the rules.
Events leading to the ban
(roughly paraphrasing what happened, may not be exact order) I spawn in from cryo, i go to the tools room to print some tools, i get grasped by a heretic (L from now on) in view of like three people, said heretic laughs and we make some jokes, he tells me he doesnt really care about doing evil stuff, he goes prone for one reason or another, i use the EE force sleep interaction on him, he allows me to, i full strip him, he allows me to, i throw him around and drag him several rooms, he allows me to, i suggest we use the heretic grasp to fuck with people, he agrees, i return to the room i full stripped him and put L’s stuff in the backpack he had, i try handing him the backpack, he refuses the backpack
L has now given me several reasons to trust he does not actually care about winning and just wants to fuck around inround, i act accordingly and we start fucking around, shoving people and wasting a bit of their time and scaring them.
I even believe i said in LOOC that we would not cuff people because it would result in admin action against me if we did (or said so ic-ly)
(I hope this adresses that i would have “No way of knowing ic unless i was metacomming” that he wouldn’t do anything)
Said fucking around we did was using his heretic grasp to knockdown people and deal some stamina damage, then shoving them until they were stamcrit, and then full stripping them of all their gear and running away
At no point did we attack security or command
At no point did we steal any ids or any valuable dept contra from people (or anything really, only one pair of shoes iirc, which we gave back)
Up until the point i got ahelped he was still mostly naked, no backpack, just shoes and a headset, i was doing some mild usual tider grubbing
I hack into engi to try grub some insuls for my friend
I then get an ahelp that im helping a valid
Reason the ban should be removed
At no point did i assist L in any antag objectives, i do not believe hacking a door was that big of a deal or punishable, it was just another thing to do while fucking around, i even went to hack the door instead of breaking the window like he was trying to do, (the most i could have gotten from engi was insuls, a pair of which i was actively using to hack said door, which i could have just given him instead)
At no point did L even draw a ritual circle (to my knowledge)
L did not get any gear from when I was getting gear myself (did not grab meds or medhud from when i went to med to get medicine for us), or when we full stripped people, further proving to me IC that he had no intention of being a serious antag.
From an rp view; I started joking around with someone who has clearly not demonstrated a threat to my character or anyone else, scaring people in maints and then effectively running away giggling, we did not escalate any physical confrontation when someone defended themselves, we just laughed at them, i do not believe my actions were out of character or negatively affected anyones experience in the round
To hopefully put things into perspective: I got ahelped for hacking one door that was next to ungrille’d (read: unshocked) windows that anyone looking for insuls could’ve just broken with a toolbox
