Ban reason: NITRP - 1st offense - warning Didnt like the station, joined anyway to then gib themselves. This could be seen as antag rolling to. Dont do it again or just dont join the match.
Ban issue: The ban is fair, but I would like a second chance or reduction.
Events leading to the ban
On Barratry, I accidently readied up without looking at the station, and upon seeing the map, I beelined to get a wrench, got the arti crusher in medical, and crushed myself in front of Hops desk in protest. At this point, I got bwoinked for killing myself early, which could have been seen as antag rolling, and for not cryoing, which removed the Paramedic slot I was in.
Reason the ban should be removed
I am not someone who antag rolls, and I hope my 1,000 hours on Goob with no notes, along with my 400 hours on Trauma, speak for that. The reason I killed myself at shift start was because it was Barratry, a map so bad they recently removed it, and because I have seen other people do similar things and not get bwoinked for it. One time, the arti crusher killed seven people and no action was taken, and another time when three people would wait at Engi to throw themselves into the SM. I saw these occurrences and thought it would be okay to repeat them because of it. Also, this all happened during a low-pop period, so I doubted that my Paramedic slot would be taken. Lastly, I do understand that what I did was wrong. I swear that I won’t kill myself before the 10-minute mark on any station and I won’t ready up if I don’t like the map. The main reason I made this post is because I am proud of my clean record for my play time and swear I won’t make this mistake again.
