Ban reason: Self-antag - 2nd offense - 3d gameban "as a rider looted a crit scoff and left their body in a hallway - admitted to ganging up on the secoff with other tiders in ahelps
Ban issue: The ban is fair, but I would like a second chance or reduction.
Events leading to the ban
Early in shift some assistants were scuffling with secoffs, I caught a stray round and baton wideswing so I joined and pushed a couple secoffs in the fray while they were cuffing, then I ended up detained by detective. Afterwards when he let me go I went down the hall towards tools past where the scuffle was still ongoing and ended up getting hit by captains saber on the way through (while he was laying down the law to the rioting tiders on Green, as is tradition). Couple minutes later saw two assistants pushing a secoff so I shoved the secoff as well, the secoff went down and got flashed or something and stripped/looted by the others so I stole their baton and disabler and left, didnt realise they were crit or close to dying, I thought it was a stamina crit from the shoves. Came back a minute later from bar but they’d been recovered or revived by then.
Reason the ban should be removed
I feel like a 3 day ban is excessive for stealing a couple nonlethals from a secoff, especially since they were not dead they could have just set me to wanted to arrest me and handle it IC. I think it’d be justified if I’d shivved the seccie or stolen their ID or comms while non-antag, though.
