The more i dive into this topic, the more it seems like the same behavior can be applies to multiple servers of SS14. Some “Teammember” bans me for Questioning the behaivior of a specific Admin.
That doesnt sound like a democracy to me, it looks like some dictator is trying to protect a cheater and is using violence to protect himself even tough that behavior has consequences.
Is one Player with a higher Rank able to perma ban everyone who doesnt dive into his ass without hurting a community? And why am i not allowed to quote history about facism regarding these situations where some tyrann is abusing power.
I dont get it to be honest, everyone should be allowed to question everything.

From a Hegelian standpoint, freedom is not simply the ability to say what one pleases and the ability to silence dissent is not simply the expression of authority. The former is an abstraction of negative freedom (“leave me alone”), whereas the latter confuses rational authority with tyranny.
The person who demands freedom of speech without limitations imposes negative freedom on the community, neglecting its positive aspect. Likewise, the authority that only has an oppressive response to criticism also fails in its function, confusing its role as a rational foundation of the community with tyranny. Rational authority and criticism are two sides of the same coin; both are based on mutual recognition. Moderators must recognize the rationality of criticism, and critics must recognize the right of moderators to exist – and both must recognize the legitimacy of norms that define how criticism should be used.
Therefore, calling for self-government (“dictatorship of critics”) is irrational, because it fails to consider the positive aspect of moderation, which is based on specific norms. For the same reason, declaring all criticism “undisciplined” is also irrational, as it negates the role of criticism in general and the function of rational authority. The failure to distinguish between negative and positive freedom leads to a conflict between critics and moderators. This conflict is resolved neither by appealing to “absolute free speech” nor to “absolute dictatorship.” Instead, it is resolved by establishing norms that can be recognized by both sides.
Since when was this a democracy? Its a videogame community, you acted weird then argued when told to tone it down. We are responsible for rulebreaks but also responsible for cultivating a community that doesn’t do shit like this.
He told me to stop i asked more questions. I dont see where i hurt anyones feelings. It seemed like someone was protecting a cheater and i continued to ask questions that would clarify if that was the case or not. I dont understand why anyone has the right to silence anyone. I certainly dont have the right to silence anyone, neither should anyone else have the right to do so.
