Ban reason: "Self-antag - self-antag - seconf offense - 2d gb As an assistant annoyed security insanely. Furthermore, broke into sec (after an arrest / taking of insuls.) and took security gear. After this, attacked a secoff (don't have specifics on it. Was probably just stuns :p), and eventually did enough to gain perma. They tried to escape perma multiple times."
Ban issue: I did what I was banned/noted for, but the ban is unreasonably harsh.
Events leading to the ban
Let’s start from the beginning.
I was an assistant, happened to grab the insuls that spawned in tools. I was tiding in maints for a couple of minutes, grabbing mats and such until a secoff started chasing me for contra. I managed to flee to cargo and slip them by jumping into space from the cargo shuttle but when I managed to get back to station I ended up running into them back in cargo, got arrested and my insuls got destroyed. At that point, I did threaten the one specific secoff I will kill them. This established IC escalation. Either way, I just wanted to crit them at that point and maybe hide their gear somewhere.
After the event I planned my revenge. Made a plasma spear and a bat and ended up running into the secoff some time later. Unfortunately, I missed the throw ( killing a drone, sorry man ) and got stunned, leading to my second arrest and getting brigged. At that point, my only beef was with the particular secoff still. Once my time was up, I left, breaking the brig window on my way out.
Next time, I made 2 more spears and raided a security checkpoint ( I never broke into sec or even had access to guns ) for armor and sec comms. After pacing around the station I finally ran into the secoff for the 3rd time and finally we had a proper fight, but he had HoS’s sword for some reason and he barely robusted me. Now this is where the fun stuff began.
Warden took my comms. Now I understand I had sec keys, the problem was that I had my original passanger comms still in my bag and a whole batch of tools. It would take 3 seconds to pop them out and give them back to me like space law suggests.
But that didn’t happen. The secoff kept egging Warden on not to give me comms. ( and the supposed replacement never came ) Because I kept yelling for comms and trying to break out, I was being assaulted in cuffs. Eventually the secoff convinced Warden to make a uranium glass cage to keep me contained. That failed when I suffocated in it. Brigmed healed me up ( one white sheep ) and they began trying to do more things, like welding me into a locker or crate, but I kept running off. At that point 3 sec were involved in this bullshit, the original secoff that started this, Warden who didn’t obey space law and the det.
They ended up removing everything from a small room, and left me in pitch blackness after bolting and welding me inside. Now, couple minutes later they opened the door and I bolted for it, but as I had no way to really escape, they caught me. I ended up being healed again ( they crit me like 5 times by that point ) and got thrown back into brig. Eventually I ended up in brig alone with a… prisoner Botanist? Not sure why they were there. Anyway I ended up being killed by them with a scythe since I destroyed brig by… throwing a bottle of space glue… yeah. ( Fun fact, HE AHELPED ME for attacking him, but I was only defending myself with a plastic chair at that point, he swung the scythe at me first )
After a short assault by lone op, Brigmed attempts to patch me up again but evac docs, so he rollerbeds me to evac sec where he revived me. I ended up managing to run out of the sec room but being one tap away from crit and naked I couldn’t do much.
I said this much just to establish up to a point, I had no beef with sec, just a particular secoff. I avoided interacting with any other sec and had a single target. Only once space law was broken I ended up being a total shitter.
Reason the ban should be removed
I don’t particularly care about having it removed or reduced, but my behavior stems from the fact sec refused to follow space law, it was then when I became a malicious shitter. If I am to be punished, so should they.
