Length of ban: 12 hours
Ban reason: "Bad character name - Second Offense "Went from the name "Tiger Wouldn't" to "Tiger Won'T" after being prior warned for the name "Tiger Would" on LRP. It was funny the first time, not so much the second."
Ban issue: I did what I was banned/noted for, but the ban is unreasonably harsh.
Events leading to the ban
I was on MRP and then the banning admin ahelped me about my name (Tiger Won’t) as to why I have it. I say “because it used to be Tiger Wouldn’t but that wasn’t sufficient so I changed it to Tiger Won’t.” Then the banning admin says “I was told to change my name from Tiger Would, changed to Tiger Wouldn’t, and now it’s Tiger Won’t.” After they ask if I’ve considered a name outside of Tiger [Would or Would Not] and I say no. Some time passes and then they state I am being banned for 12 hours for 2nd offense on a bad character name.
Reason the ban should be removed
I think its a understandable but a bit harsh for a ban IMO. I have no intention of breaking RP or rules and I do apologize. I understand it was on MRP and I didn’t think much of it because I don’t play MRP often and I wasn’t asked about the name Tiger Won’t on LRP. I of course have been ahelped numerous times about my name and I haven’t had a problem of changing it. I assumed Tiger Won’t was an acceptable name change as in the past I was asked to change it and I did to Tiger Won’t. With this it wasn’t an acceptable name and I would’ve been fine changing it but instead it’s just 12 hour ban. Now rather than just changing to a relatively similar name and possibly getting ahelped again I have made a couple different names and I ask which ones are useable and which aren’t if my appeal is denied. Tiger Will, Tiger Could(n’t), Tiger Should(n’t), Tiger Weren’t, Tiger Who, Tiger What, Tiger When, Tiger Whom, Tiger Forrest, Tiger Forest, Tiger Willn’t, Tiger Oak, Tiger Birch, Tiger Tree’s, Tiger Steel, and I’m open to other suggestions.
