Ban issue: What I was banned/noted for is not against the rules.
Events leading to the ban
exist in vc, new player ask about game mechanic answer and give explanation in detail, get banned for it an hour latter
exist in vc, new player ask about game mechanic answer and give explanation in detail admin in vc “holy metacomming“ get banned for it an hour latter after he logs on from playing his other game
Reason the ban should be removed
wasn’t metacomming, head of staff told me to get the note appealed
the acting of giving info around game mechanics i.e how to link a lath or where the silo on X map to a player should not count as metacomming as it serves to harm no one’s antag or crew and only serves to teach the new player about basic game mechanics and map knowledge
also the rule for metacomming should be revised from being in a vc and playing = metacomming
to being in vc and using info form the VC about in round problems ie revs, so the qm with out being informed ingame about revs, orders mindshileds should count as metacomming
as that is acting on info you do not know in charector
thirdly i wish to ask via a second note if i can be given a pass to be present in a vc while no admin is present say i am trusted no to abuse the vc to avoid further bans fro existing in vc.
