Events leading to the ban
During a game recently, a player joined with a really terrible racial slur as their name. I reported them in-game, but I also took a screenshot and posted it in the Discord out of sheer disbelief.Shortly after, another user warned me that posting screenshots containing slurs breaks the server rules. I checked the rules, realized they were right, and immediately deleted my post in #stories.
Reason the ban should be removed
However, I completely forgot that I had also dropped the screenshot in #media, which led to my ban. I totally understand why the ban happened and I take full responsibility for it. It was an honest mistake that I missed the second post when I was trying to clean up my error. I’ve learned my lesson and will be much more careful with the rules going forward. Thanks for your time.
