Brief description of what happened: I brought 40k frezon canister in evac and opened it at CentComm and Brizby noted me as self antag in LRP server

What I did was not against the rules. I am referring to Roleplay Rule 15 - End of Round Griefing (MRP Only)
Brizby argued that you cannot prepped anything as non antagonist in LRP server and then ignored said rules and just noted me regardless of it which is pretty inconsistent.
The rule explicitly say that
Preparing items for End of Round Griefing such as gas canister of flammable liquid or explosives as a non-antagonist is also against the rules
But it is for MRP only. But he ignored it and just straight up noted me.

He ignored that I kept the canister safe in the evac and locked it away from public. Public are not aware of this canister so they don’t know whether it is frezon or not so it is entirely unreasonable to assume that I will cause havoc in evac because random people opened it.
If I have the effort to keeping it safe and locked away and some randos opened it even if i warned them, then it is not my fault.

We have popup confirmation warning cvar that say you are not allowed to EORG or prepping something in evac. But it is only allowed in MRP so please be consistent with the rule

Brizby is not in violation of the policy.

Preparing in-round for EORG is in fact, against the rules. This falls under a lot of things, majorly metagaming. It is explicitly stated in Roleplay rule 4, this rule states:

This does not prevent knowing that a shift will end, but does prohibit things like preparing to kill people at central command when roleplay rules stop being enforced on LRP.

You can not prep for EORG as a non-antagonist, this just means as a normal crew member you are expected to enter evac with no expectation or knowledge of the concept of ‘round end’, as a roleplay expectation.

It does not matter how or why you keep the canister on evac, if the admin deems you have prepared for EORG (Something you have admitted plainly) then the admin may action you based on that. The fact ‘some rando’ opened it, is exactly why it’s such a problem to bring these items on evac. Take it as a learning experience as you have only received a note for it.

Summary:

Brizby is not in violation of any rule and thus will not be receiving any formal punishment.

It is encouraged you read the rules before making complaints.
