Ban issue: The ban is fair, but I would like a second chance or reduction.

Events leading to the ban

hey boys girls, or nonbinary people, its ya girl, tripletsahur here. i would reccomend that you just read the previous 2 appeals for an explanation on the situation, but basically i called a WELL KNOWN FRIEND a faggot in the chat by accident while introducing them to chemistry and got banned for it, even though i was not ahelped or reported. If you ask me, it just sounds like farming cheap admin points rather than finding genuine issues.

Reason the ban should be removed

I mean, id assume its been long enough considering is almost been a month since my last appeal, and over the time since my first. Also, if you guys took the time to read your rules, you would see that metacomming says “you are allowed to introduce new players”. Was telling someone how to put 30u of hydrogen into a beakers “”“important round information”“”? God forbid a girl tells someone how to do their job. I didnt mention i was an antag, or know if they were an antag at all. anyways, hopefully i get unbanned! yayy

Also ive had a clean record on both hardlight and starlight MRP AFTER I GOT BANNED.

First, I just want to mention this:

The question was asking for the banning admin, which you have provided to you in the ban message you pasted. Please take your time when creating your ban appeals.

Okay. How do you know you weren’t reported? This is not “farming cheap admin points rather than finding genuine issues,” nor was it car_lander’s intent to do such. If you are saying your use of a slur isn’t a genuine issue under our rules, then you’re wrong.

Well-known friend or not (unsure why you had to emphasize it, but I may be missing more information), you should think carefully about what you’re typing and will be sending in-game.

Please reread the rule on metacommunications.

Players are allowed to introduce new players that they know to the game but all communication and explanations should be done in game if possible.

You could’ve said what you wanted to tell the person in-character. I don’t know where you were going with this.

Also, at the end of the wizard, it says:

Are you sure that you would like to submit this appeal now?

If you’re upset about this decision, you should consider taking some time away to reflect and type an appeal that is less hostile and, what some may say, “snarky.”

Your clean record on Hardlight and Starlight is great to know, but could you reflect that in your appeal in a way that shows we can believe this?

Apologies for the wait, dudette. I had forgotten about the review thread on your ban appeal, so I’ll admit the fault on this one.

The review ended 5 days ago, with the decision being made to deny your appeal. You may create a new appeal two days from now, and I recommend you be nice. No one likes reading what feels more like a rude appeal aimed to talk bad on another staff member or team.
