Do you have any SS14 experience outside of Goob Station servers, or any SS13 experience? I’ve played Monolith and tried other servers, but Goob is the server I’ve dedicated the most time to.
Do you have prior administration experience (SS13/SS14 experience preferred, please also post a way for us to verify this)?
Nope, I’ve seen people admin and they’ve shown me the tools. Outside of SS14, I was an admin of a defunct Garry’s Mod TTT server, which is completely unrelated.
Have you ever been banned from any SS14 or SS13 servers?
Yes, I’ve been banned several times and with each new one I’ve learned my lesson

What role do you think game admins serve on our servers?
to primarily help players who need assistance, as well as to be the authority when rules are broken and to make decisions in key situations.
Why do you want to become an administrator for SS14?
to answer any questions or problems that someone may have
What are you primarily interested in doing as an admin?
to help players with their problems, to observe and act when needed, if it is an IC problem do not intervene, because it is part of the roleplay
What are you least interested in doing as an admin?
Nothing, I’d like to try a little bit of everything, since I have no experience being an admin in SS14 I can’t tell you specifically what interests me least.
How do you feel about the current roleplay status on the servers?
I feel the roleplay is very poor in terms of LRP, but there are funny moments, although I also see that the metashield is respected much more.

Other than banning problematic players, what admin actions do you believe have the biggest positive impact?
As I said before, I’m happy to help. I already have around 2k hours played, I know the game well, and if anyone needs help with any mechanics, I’m here to help.

Yes, it helps, well answered, it helps when I have a bug or something similar

Yes, I’d like to avoid being rude in helping or assisting others mid-combat, or giving priority to others; everyone has the same priority.
Scenario Questions
Scenario 1
It is the start of the round. There are 60 players on the server. The game mode is traitors, traitors have not been selected yet. There are three players who decided to observe the round instead of join it orbiting you. Two of them are encouraging you to “do something funny”.
I would wait until 30 minutes into the round; if the traitors haven’t spawned correctly, I would add a few more minutes.
If they have spawned and aren’t doing anything, well, I wouldn’t do anything either. Perhaps if more than two players requested it, I would hold a vote.
Scenario 2
This scenario takes place on LRP. The Head of Security has decided to coup the Captain. The Head of Personnel agrees with the Head of Security and has taken up arms in case it is necessary to aid in effecting the arrest of the Captain. The Captain is hiding with the Quartermaster in the cargo shuttle to avoid the Clown who has stolen the captains saber as a non-antag. There are five people named in this scenario. Please describe what actions, if any, you would take in relation to each, and why.
First of all, I should know why the HoS/HoP decided to do that? perhaps the captain was a shitter and most of the crew didn’t like him, or commited a crime, since yeah, cap is not abowe the law
Also, wouldn’t an arrest be easier using stuns? he has them
Clowns usually steal things from command or security; in this case, I don’t know if his intention is to kill the captain. If he were to attack the captain, he wouldn’t have a reason (unless the captain had done something to him before, still would be a security problem)
Scenario 3
You are ahelping a player about an issue. The player has no prior noted issues. A few days earlier, an admin had told you that this type of situation should result in a temporary ban for a first offense, and you are confident that this situation is not substantially different from the type that admin was describing. During the ahelp, another admin pings you on Discord with a link to the ongoing ahelp and tells you to just indefinitely ban them and make them appeal. Excluding trialmins and headmins, all admins are equally “ranked”. A headmin is not currently available.
Okay, if he doesn’t have any notes and he’s not been banned, it must be in accordance with what he did.
Like oh yeah, im guessing he eat a brain for accident, this would be a 3 day ban since round remove.
But I don’t think giving it indefinite is correct?
Scenario 4
A brand new player has joined, chosen cargo tech, and instantly rushes to get satchel charges and other salvage gear. How do you act, if at all?
I’d probably wait to see what happens; he might be coming from another server where he can do that. Are you telling me I take salvage gear and charges, maybe wants to mine and doesn’t know
If one explodes inside the station, I’d instantly do an ahelp.
Scenario 5
A security officer, on code blue, spots a mime breaking into EVA, in response, he shoots the mime with lethal force then takes him to medical, in cuffs. How do you act, if at all, and to whom?
Thinking that EVA isn’t that important and the secaff didn’t speak, just shot, probably ahelp, he should use his nonlethals first, whether it’s the stun baton, judo, or flash.
At least I took him to medbay, but that doesn’t guarantee that he will be revived or left in a cryobed
Scenario 6
A chief engineer has been slacking all round, generally ignoring the responsibilities of the department, despite meteors and gas leaks happening all round. How do you act towards them, if at all?
ahelp asking if he needs help in his role, since as chief engineer he has many more responsibilities than a normal engineer/atmos
or ask the engi department for help
Scenario 7
You are adminning with 2 other admins, and recieve an aHelp, you start handling it when one of the others butts in to the aHelp correct you. How do you act, if at all?
“Oh well, thank you, I didn’t know that. Thanks for your help, now I have that knowledge.”
Is fine to correct people sometimes if they are doing something wrong to avoid more problems
Scenario 8
A passenger arrives on station and starts skulking around in maints. Not preparing weapons or breaking into places, but gathering tools, insulation gloves, wires, gas mask, batteries, etc. How do you act, if at all?
I don’t see him as a threat; he’s just looking for loot. I’d probably ignore him since he’s just a regular tider
since you have or find contraband it is IC issue and security problem
Scenario 9
You are playing as the HOS in-game when the only other admin online notifies you that they have to leave. Since you are an important figure, you decide to continue playing for the remainder of the round, going SSD when ahelps occur in order to deal with them. While playing, you arrest the clown for non-lethal assault against the HOP inside the medical bay. Just as you arrive at security with the clown in cuffs, you receive an ahelp from the CMO about their chemist blowing up chem. In order to investigate, you quickly hand the clown over to the warden and tell the warden to “deal with them.” While investigating the CMO’s ahelp, you then receive an ahelp about the warden beheading the cuffed clown. How do you act, if at all, and to whom?
Okay, so, since I’m the only admin and I’ve been to SSD before, I could do it again. I’d go somewhere like the host’s room, answer the warden’s help request first. Since I handed the clown over for processing, it seemed strange to me that I killed him. I’d answer the help request first.
Then I’d try to ask him to please not do it again and probably notice him, since it was not a round remove totally, as hos I would probably yell him to revive the clown.
Then I’d check the CMO’s ahelp, It usually depends a lot on why the chemical exploded. Meth cooking, pente acid, and other substances often explode. Maybe they were trying to make bombs. As hos, I’d ask him to call security and engineers to resolve the situation.
And it will probably help the chemist who caused the explosion since these do not lead to a ban or notes, since chem has become very easy to repair and probably was an accident.
