Ban reason: The ban reason is: "Self-Antag - Cults/riots/revolutions - First Offense - 2d Gameban " As HoS, began a mutiny against the NTR."
Ban issue: I did what I was banned/noted for, but the ban is unreasonably harsh.
Events leading to the ban
Ok its kinda a long story but I will try to explain it well. Ok near round start me and the brig med the only secoffs get a call that the RD assaulted the NTR. At order of the NTR we go and arrest the RD. We question the RD about what happened and they said that they were tresspassing and they used a bat on the ntr, the ntr cannot tresspass but sure… then the ntr decieded it was a good idea to use their sword on the RD. We let it go but the NTR kept harassing the RD causing them to quit their job.
As hos I go and speak to captain about this and we feel that the NTR should be arrested for the assault on the RD. I grab the other cadet which had joined the game and we go and attempt to arrest the NTR. The brig med now has a lecter which they use on us as I try to arrest the NTR. We run and then its a bit of back and forth from there. eventually we arrest the brig med and ntr. also i forgot to mention there was a blob, lone op and hertics in that round. one at the start and one at the end that why we were armed.
Reason the ban should be removed
Now the main idea was that the NTR should be subject to the law the same as anyone else me and the cap both agreed on this. aswell as the warden who joined later, the cadet and the BSO. While I 100% agree what we did was kind of mutiny but it had RP reasons. I didnt self antag I followed what my character would have done in that situation as this was MRP.
It also wasnt much of a munity, I think the captain tried to fax cc about what happened and asked for a new NTR. We didnt rebel against NT we just arrested the rep for a breach of Space law.
addtionally in looc and ooc after the fact everyone agree that round was really fun and that we should write lore about it.
So while I think that what i did could be descirbed as self antag I dont think it comes close to revolution. I dont mind the ban just would like it removed from my record I think while the admin who banned me wasn’t necessarily wrong I think it was too harsh of a punishment for a round that everyone enjoyed.
