Ban reason: Staff Harassment
Ban issue: I did not do what I was banned for.
Events leading to the ban
I was alerted of my friend, Amped, acting a fool about capes in a group of friends from Goobstation. Considering I don’t play this server anymore, I was unaware of the drama these simple looking cloak capes carried. I messaged Amped, saying EXACTLY: “Ok seriously why are you chimping out about some [slur] capes? You look like a dumbass right now and it’s embarrassing ASF bro.”
Amped responds with a lion (presumably me) yelling at an intelligent monkey (allegedly them) with a speech bubble above the lion. I respond with, exactly, “Im just saying you look like you’re having a tantrum over some capes and it is very embarrassing for you.”
Amped then responds to my non-emotionally charged message (as seen above) with this wording exactly: “Yes hi so as much as you post images of me to your discord or copypaste echo chamber in there I honestly couldn’t really care what you all think. I don’t really respect the opinion of the person who encouraged in mainchat to “dm a headmin’s partner”, the staff member who has spread misinformation and startedly actively attacking players in maincord and trying to “u16 or staff disrespect” someone saying “my favorite admin”, etc etc. It’s honestly really embarassing for you.”
Yeah, I don’t know what they’re talking about either. I respond with these words exactly, “The thing is I’m not tied to them. I’m only in a discord server with them And I’m simply saying you look like a [slur] doing all of this over capes”
Amped responds with a philosophical view on the matter. These are their exact words, “No it’s actually exposed a flaw of communication between both maints, staff, this new art team, and players than I’m working to try and bridge instead. The supposed reason of “art team” used in the pr is just factually untrue, but I’d rather give it to actual consideration than a game of telephone that people keep getting answers wrong to.”
Do you see how we’re having a conversation, with some slurs mixed in? That’s normal, for me and Amped at least. Is it slightly insulting? Yea, but we’re friends (or used to be, at least, idk lmao) & I can prove our friendship with screenshots of previous chats if needed, I can assure you if we were not friends, we were very close “associates” or whatever corporate speak is desired by ss14 servers nowadays.
I realize Amped is obviously effected by these capes being reverted, and I end this conversation with these exact words, “Aight, whatever. Your mental state has obviously been effected by the [slur] in the goob playerbase, sending [word for a woman who has had multiple sexual relationships]s & prayers to you bro, but just realize how dumb you look to the “outside people” right now”
This is a nice send-off and I wish them the best, simply suggesting to them to realize how concerned an outside player can find themselves after finding out this drama.
Amped responds, “Mayb I’m just different than how you were as a headmin, but I honestly don’t particularly care about looks or opinions from other people.”

Reason the ban should be removed
Me and Amped were what I thought friends.
The reason I opened with calling amped a dumbass is because I wanted to get the message across: They were making a fool of themselves, and I was concerned for their personal reputation as a goob head admin. They’re meant to act professional, not have what I would personally describe as a “chimp out” publicly about some cloaks.
Why I consider myself & Amped friends is months of talking with eachother, both in and out of a group of people who play goob & ss14 in general, and sharing staff chats with eachother, both Monolith & Goobstation staffchats. If needed, I can pull out screenshots proving this.
I don’t get why Amped (or another admin, idk) banned me … 6 hours after the fact? If Amped considered it harassment, I personally believe they should’ve asked me to stop, or give me a warning beforehand. Not silently ban me after I go to sleep 6 hours after we were done talking.
Of course, there is bias within the staff team on me. I feel like the Head of Staff, Rer, and Amped will be biased against me, so I personally request that they do not vote on my appeal. Thank you.
As an edit, I have to include that Amped said, “I honestly don’t particularly care about looks or opinions from other people.” If this is true, why was I banned for harassment? They don’t care, they clearly said they don’t by “I honestly don’t particularly care about . . . opinions from other people.”
