I know? I’m saying it’s very much out of the norm and a bit ridiculous, I don’t think anybody wants to have to wait potentially months to get unbanned from a discord server just because they did something that displeases the Big Other.

Anyone can say what they want in the Goob Station Discord’s voice channels because we don’t really gaf if it’s all shits and giggles. You never seem to actually gaf whenever anyone says crazy shit in the voice channels until now???

This whole system of bans and appeals is incredibly strange and Kafkaesque, it really is not that hard to just set up a functioning and logical process that doesn’t also involve wasting everyone’s time. 0 tolerance except when it’s tolerated, permanent ban except you can appeal and get unbanned in a week (what was the point in the ban in the first place then?), making reviews last days for things that could’ve been solved before the ban even happened, inconsistent and bad communication for denying appeals, no real standard or precedent for what gets accepted or denied, could go on and on. What is any of this for?
